Smartest thing you can do is drop the class and encourage others to drop it so the "Professor" doesn't get full classes on his record. And tell him after the paperwork is done that he is a commie traitor and you don't want your grade point sabotaged by his vitriolic bias.
Scum like this ruined by GPA in my first year of college to the point where I had to totally abandoned my major. Luckily I found an alternative that I loved.
If the poster's at a University with student evaluations, giving the professor a minimum grade, along with some well chosen written comments about how he despises faculty who politicize a subject, will get the message across.
Another alternative is to write to one's state senator. In Nebraska, a small state, that almost always gets their attention. A call from a state senator and the dept. chair will be down in the faculty member's office faster than greased lightning.
