Sorry to see that Ann of all people buys into the above without knowing the impetus of what caused the Japanese internment. What it turned out to be,perhaps was a landgrab or whatever, however there was "just cause", that instigated it and the revisionists of history fail to mention it as it does not fit with their demeaning of the US.

Perhaps Ann should do a little research on an article from The Honolulu Star-Bulletin of thursday, April 23, 1998 regarding citizens of island of Niihau. Find out what transpired with three Japanese-Americans, their treason, the FBI and the courts. Their treason is all in the court records for anyone that cares to look. This was the impetus for the internment, not a landgrab or any other vile desire. We were at war, one of survival...
