To: leadpenny, John Robinson, all ...
posted the following on thread II before realizing there was a thread III. K
imho, it still seems apropos:

[previously] (i was in the middle of one of these things in DC a bunch of years ago when it got out of hand.
not only is it not a pretty sight, but the cops on horses don't much care who's head they swing a stick at...)

you've touched on the crux without, perhaps, realizing it.

when a mob of that projected size makes the break to cross the street,
whether one has 'taken bait' or not becomes irrelevant.

it will be at the precise point that an outnumbered patriotic crowd
breaks and runs to avoid violence that the nets will capture it on video and shout
to the heavens what a strong hand the 'peace advocates' have, and how 'nobly'
they routed us 'hectoring hawks'...

given that those of us on the right side of this abomination do not incite a riot,
you can bet your home and every penny you ever expect to earn that the truth
will not be aired, with the possible exception of Fox, by the networks.

i called FoxNews a little while ago to see if they'd do a story today
on our efforts, but haven't heard back as yet.

it would be quite simply wonderful if the word could get out
sufficiently that between us FReepers and like-minded locals
we would end up outnumbering these scurrilous bastards...

JohnRob, is this the way this post oughta look since i copied it from another thread ??

I'm not sure but I think we'll be ok.. Just be "street smart". Be aware of what is around you at all times. We have to be there.
