"I'm So Proud of Our President" (are you ready for this?)

I'm taking this from my wife who saw this . . . I did not . . . so you may want to find the transcript. On the Rosie show today, in the middle of a discussion of "peace and love," Rosie said words to this extent: "I've always vote Democrat and I've said some bad things about Republicans in the past but I'm so proud of OUR president the way he has handled this whole thing. My wife said she almost fell out of her chair. Can anyone confirm, or supply the exact words???

Yes, it's true. I work at a TV station that carries her show (otherwise I wouldn't watch the tripe). She has gone through a mini-epiphany. She was praising Guiliani a lot too lately.
Sounds like Rosie's ratings are sinking and she's trying to save the ship.

Where do you come up with those. That was great! Now if we could only graft Rosie's head on to the pigs...

I think Sept 11, changed all of us in some very major and some very subtle ways. The US is not the same as it was and never will be again.

New York City is a place more liberals identify with, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the liberals who are actually more changed than most conservatives.

I commend you on your bravery for actually admitting your wife watches Rosie. Perhaps a twelve step program is in order.

Re#33 I saw that. She is pathetic. I would love to see the look on her face if someone told her about Gore's commission on air security/safety doing nothing after $500,000 in contributions from the industry. That would shut her stupid piehole up....

Sounds like someone spiked her donuts this morning.
She'e got to say and do a heck of alot more than that before I'm convinced she has seen the light.
Probably thinks that if she tells her fans what she really thinks, she will lose all her sponsers.

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarrely inexeplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened."

I came home from work to find my television screen blown out. I forgot to turn it off this morning and had it tuned to that exact broadcasting channel. Do you think I can get her to reimburse me?
To: LS
Or maybe she just said, "I love bush"...
To: LS
It's all so very confusing. The "thems" are becoming "us"?? Telethons, babs calling a "Bush Truce", and now THIS. Rosie is proud. Of OUR President. She's claiming him. Someone stop the merry=go=round. I've got to get off.
Could the left be in the process of realizing that the quacking bird they have so long denied, is REALLY a duck? I will reserve judgement for the time being, but I am truly shocked that Rosie would say this, on national t.v. Truly shocked.
To: LS
She got her finger to the wind. (Oh I'm sorry pigs don't have fingers) - She trying to cover her remarks about donating 1 Mil to be used for people in NY only.

If Rosie is proud of GWB, it's just a passing fancy; she, along with other somnolent leftists, will be back behind the partisan barricades in no time flat. Patriotism is alien to the leftist, even under present conditions, and contrariness is more the norm, so expect some static at soon as the leftist can conjure up an issue.....

I think the Baldwins are almost on the right side on this one too. I heard one of them on Howard Stern threatening to kick Bill Maher's kiester for his "US military are cowards" crack.
To: Yankee
I've heard of foxhole comversions. It's possible there are asshole conversions as well.
Quote of the day material! LOL
