Are any of you guilders able to research the domain names to see who registered them since all of you are so good at investigating?
Researching these would not be as easy as you would think.

The domain names had expired, which means that doing a whois won't give you anything. You would have to get it from a place that archived the registration information. VeriSign is one company that handles domain registration that has such an archive, but they are only talking to the feds, no one else. There are, perhaps, 70 or so other companies that handle domain registration, and some portion of them might have an archive as well. Also, there may be other companies or individuals who for one reason or another did full backups of their system, including the domain name servers, within the timeframe listed (from 18 months ago to about 3 months ago).
