Excellent job, Mr. Akston. Notice that Ramsey Clark rose to a Cabinet level position with a Democratic administration. Why am I not surprised?
Jeane Kirkpatrick's Blame America Speech from the 1984 Republican National Convention in San Diego. Check out the ending. Just as true today as it was 17 years ago.

It was in Dallas. The 1984 convention was in Dallas. Sorry about that. Interesting to note that Jeane Kirkpatrick was a lifelong Democrat. One of many who gave up on the party when it went from traditional liberal to lunatic left-wing fringe.

Thanks for relinking her speech. Seriously, you need to post her speech as a new thread. Or one of our great linkers needs to link her speech, the George Orwell 1942, speech and other great links on one page! Then we can show that these so called peace niks have been setting up the 9/11 mass murder for decades!

An interesting thing about Clark becoming AG under Johnson. His father was a sitting Supreme Court Justice at the time, having been appointed under Truman IIRC. Whichever President had appointed the elder Clark had come to believe that appointment had been his greatest mistake.
When Ramsey Clark was appointed, many believe it was done to attempt to force the elder Clark to step down, which he did in fact do so as to avoid conflicts of interest.

Thanks Bryan, for Jeanne's speech. It's a keeper.
