Ahmad Kutty, 59, and Abdool Hamid, 37, are Canadian citizens affiliated with the Islamic Centre of Canada in Mississauga, Ont.Anything else on this group?

Not a whole lot- which may be why they were let go. Toronto is rife with terror-connected groups but there's nothing specific implicating that group that I know of. The one FL catch-and-release guy was:
Imam Ahmad Kutty - Islamic Institute of Toronto, Toronto, who was a signatory on the "NATIONAL IMAM STATEMENT STATEMENT BY CANADIAN IMAMS ON EXTREMISM" which deplored terrorism- See the national statement issued by Canadian Imams (July 21, 2005), the Jamiyyatul Ulama Canada, Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians (CCMT) represented 101 Imams.
But another signatory was Imam Ahmad Shehab - Sheikh Deedat Center and president of Um-Al Qura Islamic School, Toronto, mentioned earlier in the thread along with his nephew.

No mention was made at the hearing that the uncle, Ahmed Shehab, shared control of the school with Mahmoud Jaballah, a man Canadian authorities had long suspected to be associated with an Egyptian terrorist group. When Jaballah was arrested in Toronto last August for being in Canada with forged immigration papers, documents filed in court by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service stated that he was a member of the extremist group Al Jihad, and had supported and ''will engage in terrorism.'' ------ Source via http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/fr/548211/posts

Bump!
That article was edited after the Boston Globe asked to have their articles shorted. But I'm sure it can be retrieved at the sight.

This is a perfect example showing why the President must have a war declaration on terrorists and terrorism and those states who are not actively pursuing terrorists or harboring them.
Found with four passports and alias', he would be eligible for summary execution after a torture session and questioning. We need a declaration of war and and then the terrorists who intend to blend into the population would be considered spys and enemy and should be treated as such.

Another sandy haired Midwestern seminary student at it again.
Darn that profiling.
