You make some good points but the phrase "delusional ideation" is frippery, really. Most citizens of average intelligence know propaganda when they see or hear it. They acquiese because they put a premium on their own survival and not on that of citizens of other nations. To the average citizen might makes right. Has the US been a bully probably, has the US helped the millions upon millions of less fortunate citizens of the world, no doubt. You take the good with the bad just like you do in any relationship.
I do not hope for the extermination of the Palestininan "vermin" as they are referred to here from time to time. But at some point a people become responsible for their own destiny. The Muslims have never understood the value of Public Relaitons; they are their own worst enemy. They probably could have had their own, if tiny, state long ago if they had realized the Middle Ages are no longer upon us. They should do to Arafat what the Italians did to Mussolini. He has failed them in every regard. He has enriched himself and parlayed every aspect of their petty nature into more warfare. Damn him and all of his henchmen to hell.
