Dissenting Voices Less Welcome Now Translation: Now the left is getting a taste of what it felt like to be on the right for the last three decades.

15,000 civilian casualties (7,000) dead in 2 hours, is NOT conducive to middle-aged adolescents donning sack cloth and ashes to atone for the sins of America. The "peace movement" may just find out that their ownership of the streets in the 60's will not be repeated this time.

Be still my beating heart. Amazing, all of these far out lefty libs are being told to shut up and apologize. It used to be the Lib mantra not to back down, but by God they are.

Spot On!

Thank you! The headline writer has a little amnesia problem, no? Certain dissenting voices are a little less welcome now.

Peace activists in Buffalo, N.Y., say they were labeled ``un-American'' and ``crazy communists'' by hecklers.
And actually, they were labelled correctly, as the reporter would have found out if he had pulled the string and did some research into exactly what groups were organizing the protests.

Isn't amazeing how large the percentage of teachers and journalists is amongst these dissentors?

Not really. Educational institutions and the large scale media outlets are in the forefront of PC issues - dangerous to the extreme. It's time for we "silent" americans to put and end to the "PC" crowd. These people have become too powerful - a few people giving orders to the rest of us on how we are to act, how we are to speak, how we are supposed to not "offend". I'm beginning to hate that word, offend.....Politically Correct in this country is way out of control

From the same crowd who says "if you don't believe in diversity, you are a racist/sexist/homophobe".

Translation: Now the left is getting a taste of what it felt like to be on the right for the last three decades. Exactly.

When it comes to being patriotic, ``a lot of people are willing to talk the talk,'' says sociology professor Charles Moskos of Northwestern University. ``But if you really want to walk the walk, then donate blood or enlist in the military.''What a nincompoop.
Blood banks are awash in donations, they don't know what to do with it all; and there are other ways people serve their countries other than joing the military. Like, by continuing on with their daily work and keeping the economy going.
I challenge this guy to "walk the walk" for his own leftist ideology: move to Cuba.

The teachers, the professors, are spilling the junk into the heads of our children. How sick can they be. On FOX last night, one of those nuts said THOUSANDS will show up this weekend in Washington for demostrations agaist the 'war'. What you say maybe a hundred shows up, if that many. Time to put these 'teachers' out of the classrooms.

Well, if he is a friend of the military and of the right, then I apologize for hurling the ultimate slur, 'leftist.'
But the quoted statement is still idiotic.

Rep. Martin Meehan, D-Mass., posted a police guard outside his congressional district office in Lowell, Mass., after receiving threatening phone calls. ROTFLMAO!

I find it somewhat amusing that those who are calling on us not to "stereotype" people as terrorists are doing it themselves...they paint the picture of these terrorists being angry poor people who would cease their war if only we would give them money. They don't seem to remember that bin Laden and many of his supporters are rich.
I guess this shouldn't be surprising. Every Marxist I ever met was at least upper-middle class and college educated. They bleat about "the workers" when they've never done any work harder than lifting a wine glass. Oh, I know what some of you are thinking: "now you're stereotyping". Well, try this. Go up to a hard hat or a truck driver and call him a communist. Check his reaction.
Hope your health insurance is paid up.

If I gave blood and served in the military, can I call Moskos an idiot?
