Carswell was closed outside of Ft. Worth and made an Air National Guard location.

Bergstrom in Austin was closed and turned into an absolutely gorgeous international airport.

If the military wants to close 'em, close 'em.

Right. The military budget shouldn't be wasted on unneeded bases kept open as public works projects.

You're right about closing bases we don't really need. It's a must to preserve and improve the others.

But you are wrong about the "cheap stuff", (except the cereal and cigarettes). With Wal-mart and Sams, there really isn't a need to buy at the BX much.
