Leno stopped amusing me years ago. He is lost without a teleprompter. Letterman, on the other hand, is a very quick wit, and appeals more to those of us with at least half a brain. His monologue the first night back after the attack brought tears to my eyes, it was that genuine and heartfelt. I believe that, under the several layers of ego beats the heart of a true patriot.
