For the third time in a month Rush mentioned the e-mails about his voice change. He said "There is nothing wrong with my voice. You people should have your radios repaired or buy a BOSE unit". Rush is bugging me too. This is my first post please be kind.

To bad. He is becoming annoying. I have been listening to him since 1990. Can not listen any longer.

Like I said yesterday, some guy in my office mentioned it to me out of the blue yesterday (he's not a FReeper, either). Sometimes, thyroid disorders can alter your voice....

Forgot to mention, he said to have your radio's disqualification circut checked. Anyone know what that is?

A friend of mine, who used to listen to Rush but hasn't for a long while, rode with me to work the other day. Rush came on and after a few minutes my friend said, "What's wrong with his voice?" I don't hear it but he noticed it and it bothered him.

Rush is being annoyed by the inane complaints about something that has not changed. He is not becoming annoying.

It's been a while since I listened to him, but heard him yesterday. His voice was different!

I've also noticed a lowering in Rush's voice. Maybe he's reaching a second puberty!
To: duckman
He sounds great to me!

He may have nodules on his larynx, a la Frank Sinatra. Certainly something is wrong; aside from the raspy voice, he sounded even more pompous than usual today.

Rush mentions complaints about his voice again. Maybe somebody put his balls in a vice.

". He is not becoming annoying."
You mean he always was?
To: duckman
Hi voice is definitely different. I'm usually at work when he comes on, but traffic was a nightware this morning. I haven't heard him in a long time and I honestly thought he was drunk or something. His voice sounded odd and he almost seemed to be slurring his words...what's up Rush?

I was once bit by a moose.

It's an inside Rush joke. His "disgronification" circuit has been around for awhile.

I tuned in today and thought it was the RealPlayer connection. He sounded like an actor trying to pull off an aristocrat immitation.

No he doesn't babe...haven't you noticed that rather HOITY TOITY pitch to his voice lately?? Almost W.F. Buckleyish???
