I just happened to see a recent copy of my California bar journal, in which a supposed news report on the front page claims that there are no liberals on the USSC, just conservatives and moderates. More drivel from the left coast. I recall that a American Government textbook I once had refered to Scalia, Thomas, and Rehnquist as "extreme conservatives", to O'Conner and Kennedy as "conservatives", and Breyer, Scouter, Stevens, and Ginsburg as "moderates."
