A New America
Out of the ashes of those airplane fuel bombs dropped on us by our enemies, by the enemies of our way of life, will come a new America. It will save America for your children and your grandchildren in so many ways. I can give you a thumbnail sketch.
Liberalism is dead in America for the next 20 or 25 years; that's my prediction. Yes, you will hear the same fanatics, the same ACLUers, the same professors on tenure, and the same anti-globalist nonsense-niks. But they are a tiny minority and their message is not going to be received the way it was received. What has happened here is that our borders have been tightened up, our immigration policy is going to become what I've called for for the last six years.
America is going to understand that "English only" is more important now than ever. Our patriotism is already flared up and you have only seen the tip of the iceberg. You are going to see a demand that all these illegal immigrants either swear allegiance to America or get out of our country. It's coming... and I'm talking from the government down; I'm not talking from the people up. The people have already said get them out of the country. But let's put that aside.
You know how you've feared that our military was getting weak because for eight years the Clintons de-balled the military with a virtual vendetta against all branch services. That's over; our military will be rebuilt.
The attacks on the police will stop. Now, who attacked the police over the last few years? Hillary Clinton. It was Hillary Clinton who destroyed the police in New York, when she went to New York and started meddling and turned the mobs against the NYPD; that was the end of the campaign for the senate by her opposition. You are seeing that come to an end.
You saw the heroes of the WTC bombing were the police and the firemen. You didn't see anyone from the ACLU rushing into the burning buildings, did you? The people that they spent their whole life attacking are the ones who died in the World Trade Center. So you are going to see a new respect for the police in America, you will see a new respect for authority in America, you will see a new respect for the flag in America, you will see a new respect for the laws of America. In other words, everything that we conservatives have been calling for for years - almost like Daniel in the Lion's Den, almost like men alone in a desert, like Joshua, like ancient biblical prophets calling out in the night; those messages are now resonating across the lips of Americans.
And I am telling you that out of the ashes of this terrible tragedy will come a new America, a stronger America, an America that will survive the century.
