LAST - In flight photo of the WTC being hit by the 2nd plane. The following is the information from the pilot/photographer

"That morning I took of to practice some approaches, when I saw the smoke over the city, so I hit the throttle and went to Hudson VFR Corridor where on the 123.05 unicom every pilot was talking about a "commuter plane gone into the WTC". By the time I'm right next to WTC I see this airliner coming down in a steep bank, first I thought he was a gawker too, taking a closer look at the fire, and I thought "this guy is gonna get so fired by his airline for this!", and the rest you know is history..."

It's eerie looking at the pictures of those two planes and imagining how the people inside were still completely unsuspecting except for about 3-4 of them in each.

Thanks for the picture links... There is no doubt that they were easy targets. I hope that if they rebuild that they stick to building smaller buildings. Personally I don't know how anyone that escaped from them could ever go into another skyscraper after this.

Why are the wheels down on the airplanes? I don't recall the wheels being down in the tv footage.

This is the 757 which crashed in Pennsylvania. The planes that were flown into the WTC were both 767's.
