How close to Columbia, MD. did it come?

It was heading up I-95 in our general direction, but it weakened significantly between Greenbelt and Laurel/Savage. I haven't heard any reports of tornado damage north of Laurel.

Lots of wind and rain here, but no worse than the severe T-storms that we get at least twice a month between May and September. Rush hour must've been a mess (I work from home, so I don't know!), but overall the central MD/Baltimore area appears to have dodged a bullet.

The watches are up for a few hours yet, so we're still not completely out of the woods...

I just spoke to my folks and they said it was windy but not bad.
