www.preteristarchive.com is pretty interesting. If fear is driving your life right now, I would at least check it out. I don't think anybody has figured Revelation out entirely, and I wouldn't let it drive me nuts, if I were you. My advice is: Be diligent, be brave, be strong. No matter what the end times scenario is, or was, or will be, God will take care of you.
Russia will join forces with the major Middle East countries and attack Israel, and will be beaten badly. Later China will attack Israel and 1/3 of the worlds population will be killed. That takes us into the middle of the tribulation. To imagine that America would stand by and not get involved, especially being the worlds only superpower seems impossible. So either we're a 3rd world country or we've already been destroyed. Even though some interpret some scriptures as describing nuclear war in the end times, and it very well may, I personally believe that Americas fate will come from a biological attack backed by a Middle Eastern country such as Iraq that will take us all out. Still, if you know Jesus there is nothing to fear.
Psalms 27 and 91 give me comfort when I start feeling "fear".
You are forgiven and your fear is understandable. Just remember what Jesus said, "And Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
And as our President reminded us two weeks ago, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for Thou art with me."
The U.S. may or may not be there in the book of Revelation.
But you are, with all the saints.
Shalom.
Have faith. God will deliver.
And 3) America and Britain are Israel. Go back and read Genesis and you'll see the when Jacob Israel was on his deathbed prophesying to the 13 tribes, he gave Ephraim (a multitude of nations) and Manasseh (a great nation) his name, the name of "Israel"! Judah is not Israel. Ephraim (the U.K.) and Manasseh (the U.S.) are Israel!
Fear is a useful emotion, which would be foolish to ignore. It heightens your awareness to danger and the need to defend yourself. It is only a problem when it is irrational.
Think carefully about how you really feel. Make that strong emotion work 'for' you just as you do the love with which God has armed you for this day.
Boloney. Ephraim(the U.K.) and Manasseh(the U.S.) inherited the name Israel and are the ones attacked in Armageddon and Hamongog near the end times. God saves the day.
By his own lips did he state that even he did not know the day, only the Father, which is not a point to debate, just the fact.
Read Genesis and you'll see that Judah was not given the name Israel. America is not going to be destroyed for attacking the in-name-only nation of Israel. America and Britain are Israel.
Read Genesis and you'll see that Judah didn't inherit the name Israel, Ephraim and Manasseh did.
Um...what?
Thankyou for your uplifting words. You may claim that's reality, but that don't make it so.
Scythian....if you believe that what you are seeing is the fullfilling of God's word....
then logically you must also believe....
"....by two immutable things,in which it was impossible for God to lie,we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:which hope we have as an anchor for the soul, both sure and steadfast...
"...ye shall be sorrowfull, but your sorrow shall be turned to joy....and ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you"
"Fear not little flock,it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom"
....to be true as well.
Grace and peace to you
"let not your heart be troubled..."
God bless and keep you.
It's backwards. The younger is greater than the elder. "Multitude of nations" = "melo haGoyim" = "fullness of the Gentiles", see the Hebrew translation of the NT, Romans 11:25. It's the same phrase.
Genesis 48:19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he [Manassah] also shall become a people, and he also shall be great [gadal]: but truly his younger brother [Ephraim] shall be greater [gadal] than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
United States, in Hebrew, = Artzot haBRIT, lit. alliance of lands i.e. states, and also lit. "lands of the covenant". Now while there seems to be a word play with Great BRITain, in Hebrew "Britanyah haGdolah" appears to be a hybrid transliteration, the 't' being the letter tet instead of a tav as in brit/covenant. "Great" [Gdolah] is akin to the word gadal noted above.
The House of Judah isn't under discussion here, as it is represented by the modern state of Israel. They were not replaced by lost tribes. Ezekiel 37.
Exactly. Manasseh's younger brother inherited the birthright from Jacob/Israel over Jacob/Israel's first 10 sons, over Benjamin and then over his older brother Manasseh to the chagrain of Joseph. Read Genesis again. Therefore Ephraim became the firstborn. Sure enough, Britain (Ephraim) was established before all the other Israelite nations of the post-crucifixion times. Ephraim (the U.K.) became truly great. The British Empire was the greatest in history, covering much more area and people than the U.S.
"Multitude of nations" = "melo haGoyim" = "fullness of the Gentiles", see the Hebrew translation of the NT, Romans 11:25. It's the same phrase.
Yes, I've looked it up. You're cherry-picking trying to turn Ephraim into America. The Strong's concordance readily allows "multitude of nations" in Gen 48:19 to simply mean "multitude of nations". Ephraim was constantly referred to as the Bull and the Ox and the heifer. What's Britain's mascot: "John Bull"
Genesis 48:19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he [Manassah] also shall become a people, and he also shall be great [gadal]: but truly his younger brother [Ephraim] shall be greater [gadal] than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
Which is exactly what happened. Look at a map of the world and you'll see that Ephraim was the most fruitful. The U.S. has been more Libertarian in that we don't set out to take over other nations like Britain did. Ephraim inherited the birthright from Jacob/Israel and I believe their flag says "Our Right".
United States, in Hebrew, = Artzot haBRIT, lit. alliance of lands i.e. states, and also lit. "lands of the covenant".
That's Britain.

Nah, it's simple: Bariyth=covenant....... Ish=people or man....... British=people of the covenant.
The House of Judah isn't under discussion here, as it is represented by the modern state of Israel. They were not replaced by lost tribes. Ezekiel 37.
The house of Judah does exist in prophesy and is the willow tree.
Eze 17:5 He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed [it] by great waters, [and] set it [as] a willow tree.
The U.K. and the U.S. are the cedar tree and Judah has become the willow.
