Does that mean, when things were going well, they weren't objective as possible? They're now admitting that they weren't objective before, because they didn't need to be patriotic?
Liberals have never believed in logic. All they believe is that they're entitled to say whatever they feel at the moment, without consequence. What they said or did even a few minutes earlier no longer exists. "Fairness" demands we judge them only on their currently stated intentions.
