Why does it bother you so that Lysander Spooner was stauchly and morally opposed to the institution of human slavery?

Because Spooner wanted individuals to put a stop to slavery with force, instead of relying on the holy and sacred government (that killed hundreds of thousands in the "War to End Slavery"), just like gun controllers want you to rely on the govt instead of defending yourself by force as an individual.
