Exactly what would the chubby little hall monitor know about war?

The article IS great, however I do have to make note of this statement in it.

"In Vietnam, we decided that defeat was preferable to the risk of victory, not that we could not win, but the nation, the body politic, after a decade of agonizing internal struggle, decided that defeat was preferable to the cost of victory."

There was no "we decided" it was Nixon and Kissenger who decided to go along with the damm anti-war protestors.
There was no nationwide vote to decide this. It was done purely for political reasons.
Just as people remember where they were when President Kennedy was when he was shot,
Just as people remember where they were when they heard about the WTC/Pentagon tragedy,
I and countless other Viet Nam Vets will always remember where we were
when Nixon announced that "we lost the war".

Sorry for the rant but I just had to set the record straight for those 56,000 Brothers (and Sisters) who died for nothing.

I agree with your post about NOT having to bribe anyone. I agree that either people are for us and America or they are against us. NO one should be paid or rewarded to be with America. They are either pro American or anti-American. There is for me , NO fine line. It is a seperation as big and wide as the Grand Canyon and bigger.
