23 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it.
24 For false christs and prophets wll rise and show great signs and wonders to decieve if possible, even the elect .
25 See, I have told you beforehand.
Therefore if they say to you,'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out;or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it .
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition,
2:4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God .
Finally, religion, by whatever name, that goes against the Bible, proclaims itself higher than the Truth, performing false miracles etc. etc. (example Islam/Mormonism/JH..and then some.Heed this as one should heed any warning given through the Word)
Remember, we've all been warned.
Revelations 13:5-15
13:5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was to exercise authority for forty-two months;
13:6
it opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation,

and all who dwell on earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain.

If any one has an ear, let him hear:

If any one is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if any one slays with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
13:11
Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon.

It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed.

It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men;

and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived;

and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should even speak, and to cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.
Same chapter that brings us the number of the beast . But remember, it's all symbolism, the thing I get from this is an all around warning against false beliefs, false churches, for those in them are taught pretty much along these lines, that their beliefs are superior, that so and so is superior . Just as examples . We're dealing with a deciever which used Eve to decieve Adam thus commiting treason against God Himself whome they both knew .
