God works through prophets, not transforming objects.
One particular burning bush comes to mind. Good find. However in that situation, God himself spoke, and didn't leave it up to pundits for the interpretation.
I was merely asking what need the miracle of a six-day universe satisfied.
Why should God take longer than He needs? If we look at later scripture, we see the seventh day being set aside as a day of rest.

In all candor, a miracle consisting of 1700-year-old dried blood that liquefies, whether authentic or not, doesn't do much for me either. Then again, neither does a 6000-year-old universe that appears millions of years old, whether authentic or not. I guess I just don't have the spiritual need that these miracles are supposed to satisfy.
