You will not be seeing blimps or banner-tow planes over stadiums for a long time.

I wasn't aware of that NOTAM but am proud to hear of it. I'll definitely remember that if I see a plane approaching a stadium I'm in.

AOPA.org has updated information on what's going on. I'm sorry that legitimate banner towers and other pilots (like traffic watch) are not able to fly. Many small businesses here at the airport (ours included) were hammered by this. But I do NOT want to see anything flying over a crowd of people.

BTW, Geoff Metcalf, in his Saturday rerun from Thursday, had some critical words for the open-air memorials... and I agree. Not prudent at this time...
