As a Christian, my opinion is that Christianity is more an evolution of Judaism. Now, a Jew would disagree with me on this, but I think both would agree that we share more in common than Islam. Christians and Jews share the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- absolutely and without a doubt.
The Islamic religion is a false religion that has a god, who is the father of lies and destruction -- identified in the Bible as Satan.
The only critical thing that the Christians and Jews don't share at this time is the Messiah, which will soon be changed and we will all will be "one" in that, too. The Apostle Paul makes that very clear in Romans.

Right, I won't lie and say that Judaism and Christianity are compatible, because they aren't, in terms of theology. Can't be.
However, we share much of the same ethic, the same worldview, and some of the same Scriptures. America was founded on a Judeo-Christian ethic, not an Islamo-Christian ethic.
