I've followed Chamberlain's advice -- I have sought to understand the mentality of the terrorists, and and I have come to understand that they are so bug-eyed insane that the only way to deal with them is to kill them all.

Yes, a truely symbolic maneuver used by most pacifists.

The more we understand, the more reasons we find to exterminate the terrorists.

Looking for an excuse for why the terrorists murdered thousands of peaceful people is not exactly a pacifist ideal. It's more of an accessory to the act....
