[history]
MOST Americans seem to understand the gravity of the situation that terrorism has put us in - and the need for some serious military response, even if that means dangers to the lives of us all. But some still insist on posturing while on the edge of a volcano.

I wish there was a way to send the peaceniks and pacifists to Afghanistan and Iraq now and let them try their methods on our opponents. Let them put their money where their mouths are, they can try to talk with the enemy and share their pacifism and love. They might not all get killed but it'll give them something to do and get them out of our way.

This time it's different. The pacifists are so small a minority that they have no impact, other than to harden most of this great nation's resolve.
I truely believe that the public will revile these pathetic sniveling creatures for what they are. There is something different in the air this time.
As soon as our troops act, that spirit will increase and the President's popularity will soar to even bigger heights.

"It has always seemed to me that in dealing with foreign countries we do not give ourselves a chance of success unless we try to understand their mentality, which is not always the same as our own, and it really is astonishing to contemplate how the identically same facts are regarded from two different angles." I've followed Chamberlain's advice -- I have sought to understand the mentality of the terrorists, and and I have come to understand that they are so bug-eyed insane that the only way to deal with them is to kill them all.

I have sought to understand the mentality of the terroristsYes, a truely symbolic maneuver used by most pacifists.
The more we understand, the more reasons we find to exterminate the terrorists.
Looking for an excuse for why the terrorists murdered thousands of peaceful people is not exactly a pacifist ideal. It's more of an accessory to the act....

Don't so-called 'pacifists' realize that in time of war, weakness invites aggression?
These people live in ideology, not reality. You'd think the reality of the deaths of thousands of Americans would wake them up, but no. It must not have sunk in yet. These people have no common sense at all.

You went to college? Sure wouldn't know it from the way you put sentences together. Or from the unnessesary capitalization or spelling errors. And your puncuation is abysmal.
Of course, you're supposed to learn all that stuff before you go to college.

Only extreme hate can understand extreme hate.
If the "pacifist" can understand the terrorist's extreme hate well then...
