We don't agree on much, but we do agree on this. Collin Powell is a mistake, he should never publically take something off the table as "will not use".

Powell's proper reply would have been "That is a decision to be made by the Secretary of Defense and approved by the President, not to be made by the Secretary of State."

The headline on the Colin Powell article is misleading. Powell did NOT take tactical nukes off the table. When asked about nuclear weaponry, Powell said that he "didn't think they would be necessary." That's his OPINION. Opinions can change. We're not there yet.

Plus, it's not up to him. It's up to the President.
