I've heard hundreds of muslims and muslim religious leaders disowning bin Laden and rejecting his actions.

Can you name any clerics of national stature outside of the USA who have done so, and exactly how they have condemned Osama and his false Fatwa?

To blaspheme the name of Allah by issuing a false Fatwa calling on all Moslems to commit sin in the name of Allah must surely be worthy of a Fatwa against Osama the Blasphemer, should it not?

Where is the Fatwa against Osama? Who has issued it?

If there is no Fatwa against Osama the Blasphemer, then the silence of the national mullahs must be seen as quiet acceptance of Osama's Fatwa.

I believe it was Sir Thomas Moore who stated silence must be taken as assent. IMHO the question, "Is Ossama the Mahdi?" is sitting in the back of many of the followers of Islam. Some already believe him to be even though he has not yet claimed it so. This whole thing has a long way to go and we certainly do not yet know who large our opposition will be.
