These leftists are already defeated; they do not threaten any longer: they are not even newsworthy--unless they can foment a streetfight that will cause them, and the media, to think that their corpse has not yet bled out.

They are desperate for attention: if you tilt at them, they win--bruises-and-all.

I say, rather, offer no resistance, and they find no traction. The absolute dread of these once self-important change-agents is that they are ghosts. Give them what they deserve: less than slight notice.

Further, allow me to offer an alternative use of that time which would be spent ,otherwise, in feeding the leftist cause, namely:

Take your best rifle (Don't have one? Get one.), go to the range, and make sure you can put holes in a 10" circle at 300 yards...consistently. Take your teenage sons and daughters, too. Eight weeks in boot is not enough time to develop the ability to shoot straight. Soldiers who can't shoot accurately are but cannon fodder. While your coaching, give them a history lesson--the one they didn't get in school.

Then clean that rifle and rest.

I must respectfully disagree. Once these a.r.'s start there protests, the media will give them extensive coverage (i.e., Million Mom March) and proclaim to the world that the a.r.'s represent middle class America's voice. WE must show up for this war and drown them out every chance we get.

If this must be, however, bear in mind that the enemy has picked the place and time of the confrontation. They are at an advantage before it is begun.

Perhaps some clever tactician can formulate a strategem to make it necessary for them to find you. They need you.

I suggest a somewhat adjacent gathering of FReepers--close enough that they are aware of you; far away enough that they must relocate their assets to engage. You get to pick the backdrop for the cameras; you get to choose the ground from which they must assail. High spots are best for your enterprise. Having your backs to a wall or building prevents the pictures, taken by sympathetic press at the near front of your assemblage while panning the opposition, from showing fewer than the actual mass of your numbers. The situation thus, your message will redound off the wall and be more loudly heard. There must be a socialists protest manual from which other nifty ideas can be borrowed?

Actually, down here in the Tampa area, we've assembled a "rapid response team" consisting of a mix of weight lifters, truck drivers, firemen, union workers, and bikers. So far about 150 guys have enlisted as we do not anticipate any large rallies like they are having in the liberal meccas elsewhere. Oh, and we've had eggs in the sun for a week now so we are ready...
