That is such bull s***... i am a senior and i just started getting heavily into the country music style... it turns out that i am doing my best ever...
country music is free, and easy to listen to... and especially modern country music... its not stupid and its not going to make people stupid...
basically what i got out of the essay was that whoever wrote it was obviously a very black man... i mean... yes i admit that a lot of country has no point to it... for example Big & Rich's Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy... it has no point... but its a fun song...
would you rather let your children listen to songs with violence and "bitches", "40s", "cocaine", "weed", and Ebonics? or something that comes from the heart or the mind of someone who actually has talent?
country music doesn't make kids stupid... rap music make kids stupid... its that goddamn rap that is f**king up this country's youth...
one time... sit down and listen to the song "The Angry American" by Toby Kieth... if thats not a good song by one of the best country singers ever... i don't know what is... I have nothing against rock and roll... in fact i was raised on it and still listen to it now...
but country music does not deserve to be made fun of... if you think about it... it was the first original American music style... and country music is the most patriotic music there is...
so whatever you have against country music... u might as well drop it... cause if country music makes you stupid i must have been an extremely smart person before cause i just kicked your stupid point right in the ass
