Bin laden tied to the keying of my car door.
Hey I am all for getting this guy a ticket to the head of the line for dirt naps. But it seems like this guy is getting tied to everything under the sun lately and that makes me wonder if some of the bad guys are pawning off their sins on him to absolve themselves.
Or he is a busy little beaver and x42 just is as lame as we all thought he was/is.

We moved some fairly heavy fixed site equipment from FRG to Ethiopia on a few days notice back in the 70s. I believe it could have been done with a few armored vehicles. It is a moot point but it still rankles me when I think about it or someone reminds me as has happened on this thread. Fourteen hours under fire while being severely outnumbered is not something I would wish on anyone but my enemies. If half of the crap in this article is true then we should have withdrawn from the UN and ousted them from NYC the day after we found out about it.

SOVIET UNION! Soviet Union!! sOVIET uNION!!! ---RUSSIA---
After many Russian Allies fall, or shortly after we enter the Soviets' backyard, the Soviets will be turning against US. Ugly war involving 60-nations against the WEST.

Me too. But now that Clinton is gone, I don't think we have to worry about it. 100 Rangers and Delta held their own against THOUSANDS of Somalis with APG's and AK-47s that were similiarly equipped as Afghanis. I think the learning from places and engagements like Somalia will make them VERY formidable in this new role. I don't think Bush is going to skimp on equipment or personnel. I think our helicopter crews and support probably refined their tactics to prevent the problems in Somalia. I think, hope and pray, that the world will see just how formidable our armed forces are. I want them to see us fight a terrorist war better than the terrorists. I want them to fear us.

How is Ft Stewart/HAAF doing? I remember helping to reopen Camp Swampy back in 1974 when the 24th was reactivated. You do know that it was the inspiration for Mort Walker's Beetle Bailey?

Another beautiful Clinton Coverup. There is hope. I'm sure I heard President Bush say something about sucessful covert operations we would never know about. The guilty ought to be very, very careful in the days ahead...

Bin Laden, millionaire with a dangerous grudge"In October 1993, 18 U.S. servicemen involved in the U.S. humanitarian relief effort in Somalia were killed during an operation in Mogadishu. Their bodies were dragged through the streets. Bin Laden was indicted in 1996 on charges of training the people involved in the attack and in a 1997 interview with CNN, bin Laden said his followers, together with local Muslims, killed those troops."
