This is my first post here. I haven't read anyone else's comments and was wondering if anyone else noticed this. Any comments about this?

Other than to say that your's was a very astute comment....why would you not bother to at least read one comment before making your "first post here"?

The matter you mentioned could have been the bone everybody was chewing at......but you wouldn't know that, because you "haven't read anyone else's comments" and was content to simply "wonder".

Let me clarify. I had not read anyone else's comments on this particular thread. I had already been to the threads about Hillary Clinton's lack of emotion and swallowing a pickle and also about Ari saying "tolerism" and about how Bill Clinton would now be irrelevant. General comments were scattered throughout these various threads about the President's speech, but no comments addressed his lack of saying communism when listing off specific totalitarian ideas. So, by the time I got around to this thread of VI different pages (going only to the latest thread and then to the reply button immediately) I felt I had a sufficient feel as to Freepers thoughts and feelings concerning his speech. Plus, I did not want to spend much time on the computer as tonight is a school night. That is why I said "I haven't read anyone else's comments and was wondering if anyone else noticed this. Any comments about this?" I hope this clarifies the issue. On a final note, the President did say "totalitarianism," so I guess that does suffice.
