Wouldn't you love to hear Hillary's thoughts as the congress gave Rudi a rousing, standing ovation?

Who here thinks God knew of a mission that Rudi must shoulder, and therefore moved him aside from a Senatorial run 2 years ago?

Lord, they all look like they're at a funeral!

But then again... maybe they realize how close they came to dying when those maniacs almost dive bombed their own building...

Did anyone notice how uncomfortable Laura Bush looked tonight. It was if she was anxious about something.

Her beloved husband and dearest friend's life will be in constant danger because of his STRENGTH and HONOR. How could she not be anxious.

God protect this fine man!!!

I can see by your comment that the speech was inspired. Because it was.

I think it was quite inspiring.

All I'll ask at this point is that you take a real hard look at who you think your enemies are.......you may learn something. Vice versa.

Would you please speak less cryptically? What are you talking about? What are you
reading into my simple praise for his speech, and my hope that we follow through
with the promises in that speech?

As I watched, I was overwhelmed in thinking about the power of God. Think about it, our beloved President was by his defintion a drunkard. Our God pulled him up out of the gutter and set him up in this position to lead our nation at "such a time as this". Wow, what a testimony. I would love to be a fly on the wall in his prayer closet.

Yes, I noticed that Laura Bush looked worried/afraid. Her usual half-smile and serenity were gone. My prayers for the safety of the Bush family. She probably has good reason to be fearful.

What an awesome speech given by a true leader.

Hillary on the other hand....what was she thinking? At least she could have tried to fake it. The people of NY were watching, and hopefully seeing what they have elected. They have been affected by this tragedy, obviously, more than the rest of us and are looking for leadership in these difficult times. I'm glad they are observing her for what she truly is.

We need to pray for President Bush, I'm so afraid for his safety. This speech was so awe inspiring and powerful his enemies will hate him even more. I worry about them trying to harm him.

I'm so proud of my country and trying my best to instill this in my children during this time in our history.

Outstanding, Mr. President. Did we back the right horse or what?

I just got back home this minute, and I haven't read any of the reaction here yet. I couldn't wait to chime in with my plaudits. I work at a NYC newspaper, and the whole newsroom stopped and watched the speech as one. 100% agreement that it was his finest hour. And I can imagine that there might be some Hillary comments here on FR...geez, what was with her? Even the libs were laughing at her half-hearted clapping and sourpuss demeanor.

After the speech, I walked in the rain through beautiful midtown Manhattan, feeling so proud and blessed to be an American...

Storm Orphan, you are no dummy, and I think you saw the many messages within that speech, if they weren't apparent to many.

and my hope that we follow through with the promises in that speech?

He will. Perhaps you need to see that also.

I didn't mean to apply I ever lost the faith, but here in the Peoples Republic of Maryland, I think only 3 of us have BUSH stickers on their cars!
I couldn't do it.
I taped up a Bush campaign poster in my front window tonight!!

I'm saw, was inspired by, and understood every message in that speech.

What I cannot understand is you. What are you reading in my words that is giving you such ants in the pants?

You saw Hillary's clapping, as they focused on her, it was like somebody beating dust out of an old pillow (hi riley).

And I did not question if Bush would follow through. I believe he will.

My hope and concern is that we will follow through.

I didn't use many words. Try reading each of them.

Because you always seem to have a subliminal distrust of Christians, you seem to think that if we don't agree with you that we are going to drag you off to the stake and burn you alive.

That's the feeling I get.

Did anyone notice how uncomfortable Laura Bush looked tonight.

I thought she looked like a woman who was so proud of her husband that she had to work not to cry.

On a horrifying note, not to ruin the glee we all feel, but Hillary wants to be president.
I think not only should Washington be watching for terrorist threats against Bush, but the should also keep an eye on Bill and Hillary.
Their legacy has died, and they'll kill if they thought there was the smallest chance they could get it back.
Do you have any idea how close this country was to total Marxism? They wanted Clinton to stay in the Whitehouse by changing the Constitution. They had a petition going!!!!
They wanted the election by popular vote to become law!!!
We should all thank GOD all their plans have gone to ruin.
How far would they and their minions go to get all that back, and to have a Clinton rule the world???
