I have been "lurking" on these "Day in the Life" threads since before the President's working "vacation", but have never posted before tonight.
All I can say is am so proud of this man, and proud of the way our country has pulled together after this horrible attack. I truly feel that America is blessed to have "W" as our President.
As an ex-military wife, I know firsthand the fear that many families face as our troops move out, please continue to keep them, as well as our President, in your thoughts and prayers.

I thought he was going to lose it in the place where he held up the badge. I lost it. Barbara lost it.

The symbolism of #11, holding up the badge, is unmistakable.

"There's a new sheriff in town! Not like the old sheriff. There's been some things going on around here that are goin' to stop. Now! You got any problems with it you can take it up with my posse over here."

The irony of this is delicious, since our enemys have been calling him a "cowboy"
