Please don't be fooled. Daschle is better at hiding his true colors than Hitlery. Zell Miller, or John Breaux, you might be able to "trust" to have honest expressions of support. Daschle is RIDING THE WAVE of PUBLIC OPINION. If he notices even a SLIGHT crack in the Gallup Poll "support" level, he'll turn into the DASH-HOLE he truly is.

President Bush hit a grand slam tonight and has taken full control of the country. Looking at the Democrats, they are stunned and resigned. Bonior is on Fox right now and is begrudgingly acknowledging the power of Bush's speech. This is one Palm Beach County voter who is so proud I fought in enemy territory at home to get our great president elected!

Could you imagine "Fidel Gore" in his alpha-male, earthtone fatigues making that speech challenging the soldiers, whose votes he sought to shred, to give their lives for him.

At the end of the speech I started flipping channels, and heard every reporter, every anchor, every pundit, saying "President Bush" and "the president", with no hesitation, and no doubt.

Hard for me to say this, but CBS's coverage was awesome. Rather and Scheiffer were very sincere in their praise for Bush. At bottom, those guys are Americans first.
