I sure hope you are right. All we need is yet another cabinet position to support. But I see your point. Sort of a "blue team" to check on everyone else.
My first instinct, and hope, is to agree with you. Create a cabinet level position and staff from scratch. Our national security is obviously compromised. The agency turf wars are probably 98% funding related, and 2% deliberate. It's the 2% deliberate obstruction that this position might uncover.
