                     A Moment For Truth
                         Dave Hunt

America awakened September 11 to appalling scenes on TV of
passenger planes deliberately crashing into the towers of the
World Trade Center and into the Pentagon. Stunned disbelief gave
way to the question, who could so carefully plan and efficiently
execute such incredibly inhumane destruction and slaughter? What
cause could so powerfully motivate educated and trained
individuals to sacrifice their own lives and the lives of so many
total strangers in this manner? In the minds of civilized people
these men were unbelievable fanatics. But were they?

Could one call the spiritual leader of an entire major country a
"fanatic," a man universally recognized as properly representing
his religion? Who would know his religion better than the
spiritual leader himself? Such was Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini when
he declared, "The purest joy in Islam is to kill and be killed
for Allah."(1) Is that fanaticism?

And could you call the founder of a major world religion a
fanatic? Muhammad, who with his followers slaughtered thousands
in establishing and spreading Islam, said of Muslims, "Who
relinquishes his faith, kill him....(2) I have been ordered by
Allah to fight with people till they testify there is no god but
Allah and Mohammed is his messenger." (3) Was Muhammad a fanatic?
Are they fanatics who obey him today in exacting the death
penalty upon Muslims (as in Afghanistan, the Arab Emirates,
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan) who for the sake of conscience
convert to another religion?

Do we need a new definition of "fanatic"?

There is a certain hypocrisy in the new outrage with which
America and the world now view terrorism. History's bloodiest,
most vicious and successful terrorist, Yasser Arafat, has been
given the Nobel Peace Prize and embraced as a world statesman. He
is proof to would-be imitators that terrorism pays big. The
United Nations, European Union, and countless world political and
religious leaders have sided with him in his terrorism against
Israel. Arafat and his PLO held the record for the largest
hijacking (four aircraft in a single operation) -- which has just
been equaled, the greatest number of hostages held at one time
(300), the greatest number of people shot at an airport, the
largest ransom collected ($5 million paid by Lufthansa), the
greatest variety of targets (40 civilian passenger aircraft, five
passenger ships, 30 embassies or diplomatic ministries plus
innumerable fuel depots and factories), etc. (4) Instead of
being tried by an international tribunal as were the Nazi and
Serbian leadership, Arafat's bloody exploits gained for him
acceptance as a leader for peace!

In his brief speech to the nation the morning of the 12th,
President Bush declared that the attacks on New York and
Washington, D.C. were "acts of war." Indeed, they were -- jihad
("holy war"). He said that "freedom and democracy are under
attack [but] we will not allow this enemy to win the war
by...restricting our freedoms." Is it a mere coincidence that the
freedom of speech, religion, the press, and of vote and
conscience which we hold so dear in America are suppressed in
every Muslim country?

Who dares to make the obvious connection between this declaration
of war against America, and the declaration of war against the
entire world by Muhammad in the seventh century, a part of Islam
ever since? Since its inception, jihad has been waged by Islamic
warriors to spread that religion of violence and hatred. Islam
does not change. Rioting Muslim mobs invariably chant in their
"fanaticism," "Allah is great! Allah is great!"

In the wake of this terrible act of "holy war," our President and
Congressional leaders referred to God numerous times and invoked
His blessing in tracking down the perpetrators of this infamous
deed. The God of the Bible to whom they referred is not Allah,
the god of Islam, whom the attacking terrorists served so
faithfully!

We may be certain that the hijackers were not Israelis or
evangelical Christians. Never! The simple but horrible fact is
that only the religion of Islam could supply the motivation for
what they did. Why are Muslims responsible for most terrorism in
the world today? There is a definitive and foundational reason.

It would be extremely naive to imagine that terrorists who are
willing to blow themselves up in Israel or to crash a plane at
the loss of their own and many other lives do so for some
commendable humanitarian cause. The courage comes solely from a
unique doctrine of Islam. Abu-Bakr, the first Caliph to succeed
Muhammad (and one of the few to whom Muhammad promised Paradise
without martyrdom), declared that even if he had one foot in
Paradise he could not trust Allah to let him in. The only sure
way in Islam of achieving Paradise is to sacrifice one's life in
jihad. Yes, suicide is forbidden as self-murder. But to sacrifice
one's life in killing infidels carries the highest reward.

And what reward does Paradise bring to the jihad martyr? He is
promised a palace of pearls in which are 70 mansions; inside each
mansion are 70 houses and in each house a bed on which are 70
sheets and on each sheet a beautiful virgin. He is assured that
he will have the appetite and strength of 100 men for food and
sex. This is the fantastic dream that is fed to Muslim boys from
earliest childhood. This motivation alone gives the reckless
courage and determination to train and execute terrorist deeds in
which they sacrifice their lives in bringing death and
destruction to "the enemies of Allah."

America has been called "the Great Satan" by Muslim leaders
around the world. Thus the strike at America was a strike for
Allah against his chief enemy. Palestinians danced in the streets
to celebrate the destruction in America, shouting victory to
Allah. The day before the attack CNN showed routine footage of
third grade children in a West Bank school chanting death to
Israel. Only indoctrination into Islam makes possible such
incredible scenes and the terrorism they celebrate.

Though people of good will naturally recoil from attaching blame
to a major world religion itself, we can no longer afford such
sentimentality. No longer dare we allow Islam to escape its
undeniable responsibility. Yet former President Bush called Islam
a peace-loving religion.

The devastating acts of war by Islamic terrorists against the
United States were greeted by naive statements from
well-intentioned government leaders to the effect that we must
distinguish between terrorism perpetrated by extremist groups and
Islam itself which is peaceful. Yet there are more than 100
verses in the Qur'an advocating the use of violence to spread
Islam. In the Qur'an, Allah commands Muslims, "Take not the Jews
and Christians as friends....Slay the idolaters [non-Muslims]
wherever ye find them.... Fight against such...as believe not in
Allah..." (Surah 5:51; 9:5,29,41, etc..). Though most Muslims
would shrink from obeying such commands, this is official Islam
and it cannot change without admitting that Muhammad was a false
prophet and murderer.

Several years ago Steven Emerson produced for PBS an excellent
video titled Jihad In America. Its cameras went directly inside
cell groups associated with mosques here in America where eager
young Muslims were being recruited for jihad against the United
States. Muslim leaders are shown giving speeches about bringing
America to its knees through terrorism and making cold-blooded
statements such as the following from Fayiz Azzam in Brooklyn in
1989: "Blood must flow, there must be widows, orphans, hands and
limbs must be severed and limbs and blood must be spread
everywhere in order that Allah's religion stand on its feet!"
Yes, Allah's religion is the motivation!

In Kansas, in 1988, another leader recruiting Islamic holy
warriors against the United States exults, "O, brothers! After
Afghanistan [where Muslim "freedom fighters," aided by the CIA,
drove out the Soviets and installed the brutal Taliban regime]
nothing in the world is impossible for us any more! There are no
superpowers or minipowers. What matters is will power that
springs from our religious belief!" Yes, religious belief, the
particular belief of Islam, is the only motivation capable of
inspiring such "fanaticism."

At the beginning of the video, Emerson, who had tracked
international terrorism for the prior ten years, reported on what
he called "networks of Islamic extremists" inside the US. He
accurately warned that "for these militants jihad is a holy war,
an armed struggle to defeat nonbelievers, or infidels, and their
ultimate goal is to establish an Islamic [worldwide] empire." Yet
he later backpedaled into the incredible statement that "Islam as
a religion does not condone violence; the radicals represent only
themselves-an extremist and violent fringe...." That is simply
not true. It is not because men are Arabs or extremists that they
turn to terrorism, but because they are devout Muslims. Yet who
will face this obvious fact?

Hatred of Israel and the call to destroy America for supporting
her are also underlying themes of the terrorists seen in the
documentary. Another Muslim leader in the US declares that
Washington's Capitol Hill is "Zionist-occupied territory," that
the Jews control Congress, and that the United States deserves
what it gets so long as it continues to support Israel.
Referring repeatedly to "Islamic holy warriors," the video
documented as clearly as could be done that Islam is the driving
force behind terrorism. Astonishingly, however, the narrator and
counter-terrorism experts being interviewed repeatedly declared
that Islam was not to be blamed but only the "fanaticism" of
certain individuals. For example, Paul Bremer, former
Ambassador-at-Large for counter-terrorism for the State
Department, said it is "important to make a distinction...the
vast majority of Muslims and Arabs are peace loving."

It is true that the vast majority of Muslims are peace loving and
would protest that they oppose terrorism. Our sympathy is with
them. However, should they not ask themselves why they follow a
religion founded upon violence which from its very inception has
been spread with the sword? Under Muhammad's leadership in the
seventh century, thousands of Arabs (and many Jews and
Christians) in the Arabian Peninsula were killed by Islam's
fierce "holy warriors" to force that religion upon the Arab
world. Upon Muhammad's death, most Arabians abandoned Islam,
imagining that they were free at last. Swiftly, tens of thousands
of Arabs were slaughtered in the Wars of Apostasy, which forced
Arabia back under Allah. From that base Islam was spread
everywhere with the sword.

On radio and TV, during that black Tuesday in September which we
can never forget, we were repeatedly told by well-intentioned
government officials that we must be careful not to blame Islam
for what a few fanatics had done. In fact, terrorists act in
direct obedience to Muhammad, the Qur'an, Allah and Islam. While
nominal Muslims reject the idea, all Islamic scholars agree that
it is the religious duty of every Muslim to use violence whenever
possible to spread Islam until it has taken over the world.
We need to face some simple questions: Is not the attempt to
force them into Islam the cause of the cruel enslavement, torture
and slaughter of millions in southern Sudan? Is not Islam the
driving force behind the murderous and destructive riots against
Christians in Nigeria, Indonesia, Pakistan and elsewhere? Is it
not the enforcement of Islamic law that makes the Taliban deny
all civil rights to those under its control in Afghanistan?
And what is it but Islam that unites the otherwise divided Arab
world in an implacable and unreasoning hatred against Israel? No
Arab map in the world admits Israel's existence. It is only
Islam's claim that Ishmael, not Isaac, was the son of promise and
that the Holy Land belongs to them which unites Arabs in the
"fanatical" determination to destroy the Jews.

There is a natural reluctance to accept any statement which seems
to be a prejudiced attack upon a world religion. It is the fear
of such prejudice which prevents the world from facing the truth.
But is it prejudice to state the plain facts? No, it is not --
but it is difficult to face the truth that Islam itself is a
religion of violence and that those who practice it are not
extremists and fanatics in the ordinary sense of those words, but
sincere followers of Muhammad.

The world has sided with Islam in its false claim to the land of
Israel, which is now inaccurately called Palestine. This promised
land, given to Israel by the God of the Bible, has been occupied
by Jews continuously for the last 3,000 years, and they are the
only people to have done so. In recognition of that undeniable
historic fact, all of "Palestine" was to be given to the Jews for
a national homeland by a 1917 ruling of the League of Nations.
But steadily the Jews were betrayed by Britain's administration
of this mandate (and the demise of the British Empire can be
dated from that betrayal); the land was parceled out to Jordan,
Syria, Lebanon, etc. Israel is now accused of "occupying" land
which actually has been theirs for 3,000 years. The come-lately
"Palestinians" are sustained by the world in the lie that they
are the original owners of this land. As a result, terrorism is
perpetrated not only against Israel but now in this latest act
against the United States to apply pressure to force Israel out
of its rightful land and to spread Islam around the world.

We have arrived at a defining moment when truth could triumph if
the world would recognize that terrorists are not "fanatics" but
devout fundamentalist Muslims who are earnestly following their
religion. This recognition could bring fresh sympathy for Muslims
of all nationalities who are tragically trapped in that system.
The exposÇ of the truth could embarrass Muslim nations into
opening the Islamic Curtain and allowing freedom to enter their
borders. It could be a new day of open evangelism for the world
where not force but love and reason permit each person to
determine the faith he would embrace from his heart.

Let us pray to that end.

Quotable
----------------------------------------------------------------

Without doubt the mightiest thought the mind can entertain is the
thought of God....That our idea of God correspond as nearly as
possible to the true being of God is of immense importance....A
right conception of God is basic not only to systematic theology
but to practical Christian living as well. It is to worship what
the foundation is to the temple; where it is inadequate or out of
plumb the whole structure must sooner or later collapse. I
believe there is scarcely an error in doctrine or a failure in
applying Christian ethics that cannot be traced finally to
imperfect and ignoble thoughts about God....

The man who comes to a right belief about God is relieved of ten
thousand temporal problems, for he sees at once that these...
cannot concern him for very long; but...the one mighty single
burden of eternity begins to press down upon him with a weight
more crushing than all the woes of the world piled one upon
another. That mighty burden is his obligation...to love God with
every power of mind and soul, to obey Him perfectly, and to
worship Him acceptably....

Among the sins to which the human heart is prone, hardly any
other is more hateful to God than idolatry....The essence of
idolatry is the entertainment of thoughts about God that are
unworthy of Him....The heaviest obligation lying upon the
Christian Church today is to purify and elevate her concept of
God until it is once more worthy of Him-and of her.

Who is Ossama Bin Laden? Personal Biography
Iraqi Activists September18, 2001

Ossama Bin Laden was born in 1957 from a Syrian mother and Yemen
-Hadramaut father. He was the forty-third child of a wealthy general
contractor Muhammad Awthe Bin Laden. His father Arrived in Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia from Hadramaut in 1930 looking for work. He started as a
bag carrier in Jeddah port and in a few years the father became one
of the most influential contractor in the young kingdom. In the next
a few years he built a good relationship with the entire ruling
family and on top of them Prince Faisal. When a family feud developed
between king Saud and Faisal he was in a position to convince the
king to step aside and let prince Faisal take over the reign of the
kingdom.

He bankrolled the kingdom for six months at the time when the
treasury of the new state could not meet its payroll obligations. The
new king Faisal showed his gratitude by granting all contracts to
Muhammad Bin Laden the father. In 1969, he oversaw the rebuilding of
Masjed Al Aqssa, the most holy shrine in Islam after a devastating
fire. The father Muhammad was a religious man and he even saved his
carrying bag from his earlier days to remind people and his children
of the long journey he had from rag to wealth. The father passed
away in 1970 in an airplane crash. When the father died, Ossama was a
young boy then. The eldest son Salem followed his father footsteps by
taking over the family business, but like the father he died in an
airplane crash short after.

Ossam finished his high school and collage in Jeddah. His college
degree was in Business Administration. He had never been to any of
the western countries; his travel abroad is limited to trips to
Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan and the Gulf region countries. His views
were influenced at early age when his father used to invite many of
the Islamic figures to his house, but more importantly he was
influenced by two of his collage professors Muhamad Qatab and Sheik
Abedula Azzam.

Immediately after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Ossama Bin
Laden organized a trip with some of his Pakistani Islamic groups to
Peshawer. He met with many of the Islamic fighters like Sayaff and
Rabbani who he'd known from his earlier days in Saudi Arabia. He then
came back after staying there for a period of one month. He started a
donation drive in Saudi Arabia to help the Afghani cause against the
Soviet infidels. He made a second trip back to Pakistan to visit the
refugee camps on the borders between the two countries and
distributed the money he collected from his country. In 1982 he
decided to enter Afghanistan, he brought with him earth and road
pavement equipment and helped the Islamic fighters to establish
military bases in remote areas. In 1984 he organized his first
Islamic movement to support the Afghani fighters in Peshawar and
called it Bait Al Anssar. His organization was to collect money
from the Gulf region and channel it out to the Afghanis through the
local leaders such as Abdullah Azzam.

In 1986 he decided to expand his operations inside Afghanistan from
building camps to active participations in the fighting against the
Soviet occupation forces.

During that period he built six military training camps inside
Afghanistan, an enlisted volunteers from Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey and
other countries numbering in the thousands, they all joined their
Afghan Muslim brothers in the struggle against an ideology that
spurned religion. In one raid late that year his followers managed to
kill several well trained Soviet commandos near the city of Jaji.
Between 1986 and 1989 he was engaged in five major battles against
the occupied Soviet army. He kept detailed records of volunteers from
different Islamic countries, the base of this organization later
became known as Al Qeyada meaning the Central Command.

He returned to Saudi Arabia 1989 after the withdrawal of the Soviet
Union from Afghanistan. Shortly after his return, he learnt that the
government forbids him from leaving the country. In a series of
letters to the state handed over by Prince Ahmmad Bin Aziz, he
predicted the expansion desire of the Iraqi regime in the Gulf
region, however the Saudi government considered that an interfere
with its national affairs and he was almost put on house arrest.
After the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, he sent a letter to the
government suggesting the use of Arab volunteers to combat the
Iraqis. But the decision of allowing the Americans and other troops
from western countries to protect Saudi Arabia had profound
implications on his religious and political views thereafter. In his
opinion, it was the first time in history since the beginning of
Islam that infidel troops set feet on the Arabic peninsula. He then
asked for Fetwa for new Islamic volunteers to fight with him in
Afghanistan. A local Sheik by the name of Bin Athmain responded to
his call and issued a Fetwa to help him in his new cause. After a
raid by the Saudi government on his compound outside Jeddah he
decided to leave the country. He managed to convince the internal
ministry through Prince Ahmmad Bin Aziz to let him leave the country
and attend urgent business in Pakistan.

He immediately entered Afghanistan to find the country embroiled in a
tribal war. His first reaction was not to take sides in the internal
struggle for power. But soon learned that it‚s best for him to leave.
This time he decided to leave to Sudan, he quickly transferred most
of his financial possessions out of the Saudi Arabia and left at the
end of 1991. In 1992 the Saudi government froze what's left of his
financial assets, then followed it up with the withdrawal of his
citizenship in 1994.

The Sudani government was under external pressure to extradite Bin
Laden to the United States after his implications of bombing the WTC.
He then contacted Sheiks Younis Khalass and Jalal Al Deen Al Hakhani
in Afghanistan, which both were controlling Jalal Abad area and left
secretly to Afghanistan. He endorsed the terrorist attack on Kubar
in June 1996 but stop short of admitting masterminding the attack.
The Saudi government claimed it was organized by Iranian backed
groups shielding him from any involvement in the attack, however soon
after this terrorist attack he issued a personal call asking to
remove the infidels from Saudi Arabia.

After the sweeping control of Talaban forces to Jala Abad, the head
of the Talaban government Mulah Omar Zaim considered him a guest of
the Afghani people. Shortly after that he escaped an assassination
attempt on his life by a combination of Pakistani intelligence agents
and local tribesmen. For that reason he decided to move his
headquarters to Kundehar. His bond with the Talaban government
improved when he took their side against opposition groups headed by
Dowstam "Uzbekistan tribes", and Masoud "Tajikistan tribes" who was
assassinated late last week.

In mid 1997 there was a second assassination attempt on his life
organized by the Pakistani inelegance agency and backed by the CIA.
In 1998 he asked for a new Fetwa to justify killing all Americans,
several religious figures in Pakistan and Afghanistan endorsed his
call and he entered in an alliance with the Egyptian Jahad Islamic
movement "Dr. Ayman Al Thawahiri and Riffi Taha". The Talaban
government however did not like this escalation and considered it a
violation of his guest status in the country. At the same time Ossam
increased the rhetoric by granting the ABC News an interview where he
claimed that there would be new attacks on Americans in the very near
future. For the first time he linked the possible retaliation to the
sanctions against Iraq. A few weeks after on August 7, 1998 he
launched the attacks on the American embassy in Tanzania and Kenya. A
release to the press by the Islamic Army to liberate the Holy Shrines
asked the release of Sheik Omar Abdul Rahman in US and others in the
Saudi jails like Sheik Salman and Saffar.

In 1999 the Saudi government sent Turkey Faisal and Sakman Al Omari
to Kabul asking the Talaban government to hand over Bin Laden, but
Mulah Omar refused bitterly there offer and asked them to leave the
country and close the Saudi consulate in Kabul. In return Bin Laden
sent his followers to defend Kabul against attacks by the opposition
leader Shah Masoud.

Ossama Bin Laden was married at early age of seventeen, he has many
wives and twenty children most of them live with him in Afghanistan
except three of them who are still living in Saudi Arabia.

More on the JIHAD IN AMERICA --

In the above e-mail article, giving some background about Osama bin Laden, you see that he asked for a "fatwa" against the Jews and the Christians (Israel and the U.S.). So, this is IN EFFECT now.

Remember the "fatwa" against Rushdie -- which is still in effect. I doubt this "fatwa" is going to "go away".

Of course, the big message to get out -- and which should be known by all -- is that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (of the Jews and Christians alike) is the true "One God" who rules the universe (who says there is no one like Him) -- while -- the god of Islam is the false god of this world, whose name is Satan, the father of lies and of destruction, who is of old and was in the Garden of Eden.

This is the message to drive home. The god of Islam has his hand against Israel -- so it should be eminently obvious that "their god" cannot be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

THEREFORE, we see this from the Islamic world (not an article, but their words and a "fatwa").

Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders

World Islamic Front Statement

23 February 1998

Shaykh Usamah Bin-Muhammad Bin-Ladin
Ayman al-Zawahiri, amir of the Jihad Group in Egypt
Abu-Yasir Rifa'i Ahmad Taha, Egyptian Islamic Group
Shaykh Mir Hamzah, secretary of the Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Pakistan
Fazlul Rahman, amir of the Jihad Movement in Bangladesh

Praise be to God, who revealed the Book, controls the clouds, defeats factionalism, and says in His Book: "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)"; and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad Bin-'Abdallah, who said: I have been sent with the sword between my hands to ensure that no one but God is worshipped, God who put my livelihood under the shadow of my spear and who inflicts humiliation and scorn on those who disobey my orders.

The Arabian Peninsula has never -- since God made it flat, created its desert, and encircled it with seas -- been stormed by any forces like the crusader armies spreading in it like locusts, eating its riches and wiping out its plantations. All this is happening at a time in which nations are attacking Muslims like people fighting over a plate of food. In the light of the grave situation and the lack of support, we and you are obliged to discuss current events, and we should all agree on how to settle the matter.

No one argues today about three facts that are known to everyone; we will list them, in order to remind everyone:

First, for over seven years the United States has been occupying the lands of Islam in the holiest of places, the Arabian Peninsula, plundering its riches, dictating to its rulers, humiliating its people, terrorizing its neighbors, and turning its bases in the Peninsula into a spearhead through which to fight the neighboring Muslim peoples.

If some people have in the past argued about the fact of the occupation, all the people of the Peninsula have now acknowledged it. The best proof of this is the Americans' continuing aggression against the Iraqi people using the Peninsula as a staging post, even though all its rulers are against their territories being used to that end, but they are helpless.

Second, despite the great devastation inflicted on the Iraqi people by the crusader-Zionist alliance, and despite the huge number of those killed, which has exceeded 1 million... despite all this, the Americans are once against trying to repeat the horrific massacres, as though they are not content with the protracted blockade imposed after the ferocious war or the fragmentation and devastation.

So here they come to annihilate what is left of this people and to humiliate their Muslim neighbors.

Third, if the Americans' aims behind these wars are religious and economic, the aim is also to serve the Jews' petty state and divert attention from its occupation of Jerusalem and murder of Muslims there. The best proof of this is their eagerness to destroy Iraq, the strongest neighboring Arab state, and their endeavor to fragment all the states of the region such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Sudan into paper statelets and through their disunion and weakness to guarantee Israel's survival and the continuation of the brutal crusade occupation of the Peninsula.

All these crimes and sins committed by the Americans are a clear declaration of war on God, his messenger, and Muslims. And ulema have throughout Islamic history unanimously agreed that the jihad is an individual duty if the enemy destroys the Muslim countries. This was revealed by Imam Bin-Qadamah in "Al- Mughni," Imam al-Kisa'i in "Al-Bada'i," al-Qurtubi in his interpretation, and the shaykh of al-Islam in his books, where he said: "As for the fighting to repulse [an enemy], it is aimed at defending sanctity and religion, and it is a duty as agreed [by the ulema]. Nothing is more sacred than belief except repulsing an enemy who is attacking religion and life."

On that basis, and in compliance with God's order, we issue the following fatwa to all Muslims:

The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies -- civilians and military -- is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it [EMPHASIS ADDED], in order to liberate the al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy mosque [Mecca] from their grip, and in order for their armies to move out of all the lands of Islam, defeated and unable to threaten any Muslim. This is in accordance with the words of Almighty God, "and fight the pagans all together as they fight you all together," and "fight them until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God."

This is in addition to the words of Almighty God: "And why should ye not fight in the cause of God and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? -- women and children, whose cry is: 'Our Lord, rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will help!'"

We -- with God's help -- call on every Muslim who believes in God and wishes to be rewarded to comply with God's order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it. We also call on Muslim ulema, leaders, youths, and soldiers to launch the raid on Satan's U.S. troops and the devil's supporters allying with them, and to displace those who are behind them so that they may learn a lesson.

Almighty God said: "O ye who believe, give your response to God and His Apostle, when He calleth you to that which will give you life. And know that God cometh between a man and his heart, and that it is He to whom ye shall all be gathered."

Almighty God also says: "O ye who believe, what is the matter with you, that when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of God, ye cling so heavily to the earth! Do ye prefer the life of this world to the hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the hereafter. Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For God hath power over all things."

Almighty God also says: "So lose no heart, nor fall into despair. For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in faith."

It's also "interesting" that this word from the Islamic world states that it's a "jihad" against the Jews and the Crusaders. And, even though Bush "backed off" the statement of calling this a "Crusade" against terrorism (which it actually IS), we see this being directed against the "crusaders" (which is a code word for the Christians or the "people of the book")

War has definitely been declared against the Jews and against the Christians -- by the "god of this world" (i.e., Satan), as we can see will come to its "high point" at the time of the events in the book of Revelation.

PMW: Arafat's Doublespeak Continues

Palestinian Media Watch Bulletin

Arafat's Doublespeak Continues...

In response to Prime Minister Sharon's declaration that a 48-hour cease fire
would enable a resumption of Palestinian-Israeli talks, the following
contradictory statements emerged from the Palestinian Authority:

" 'I have issued strict instructions for a total commitment to the
cease-fire' Arafat said..."

[The Jerusalem Post, September 20, 2001]

"This [cease-fire] declaration is nothing more than a tactical initiative
and a political maneuver on the part of the [Palestinian] Authority, so that
the Palestinians won't be perceived as hostile towards the peace process. "

[Amin Maqbul, Member, Fatah World Leadership and
Fatah Delegate in Shechem (Nablus),
the Palestinian Authority official daily,
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, September 20, 2001]

The DOUBLESPEAK of Islamic terrorists continue -- which is also being seen, in these events in New York and Washington DC -- as DOUBLESPEAK in Islam, too. The Muslims say, "We're not for terrorism!" [but say among themselves, "We're just for killing all the infidels in the world."]

Guess who the infidels are? A lot of them were in the World Trade Buildings.

More on Arafat, the Terrorist of Islam.

Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2001 09:44:02 -0500 (CDT)
To: All the World
From: The Temple Institute
Subject: The Last Remnant of Jews

"I have issued strict instructions for a total commitment to the
cease-fire." So said Yasser Arafat on Rosh HaShana, a full year after
his forces destroyed Joseph's Tomb in Nablus. A year in which
near-daily casualties have been inflicted upon the people of Israel,
and a year during which Arafat has already declared five previous
cease-fires, each one lasting less than a week. But this morning,
less than two days after this last declared cease-fire -- two days
that were marked by unrelenting attacks by Palestinians on Israeli
forces and civilians -- another Israeli has been murdered. Today, the
third of Tishrei, while the Jewish people observe the Fast of
Gedaliah, 26 year old Sarit Amrani, mother of three, was shot dead
before her children's eyes. Her husband Shai, 32, was seriously
wounded, suffering bullet wounds to the neck and chest. His
condition, listed as critical, continues to worsen at this hour. The
couple's three children, also in the car, were unharmed. The attack,
in which the family were fired upon by a passing Palestinian
truck, took place on the road connecting the Arab and Jewish
communities of Tekoa. The terrorists fled in the direction of nearby
Palestinian Authority-controlled Bethlehem.

Please note that although America has invited Arafat to join its
anti-terror coalition, to free the world from terror, Fatah,
associated with Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, has
claimed responsibility for this morning's terror attack. Yes, you are
reading this right.

Israel's nobel laureate, the amazing Shimon Peres, will not meet
today with Arafat. We are sure that he is disappointed. After all,
Peres says that since Arafat's announcement there has been a "very
large decrease" in the violence. Sarit Amrani's children must find
that very reassuring. It's only one more family torn asunder; our
daily quota. President Bush recently said: "We take his [Arafat's]
words very seriously that he is interested in doing everything he can
to reduce terrorism in the Middle East. That was a very positive
statement he made." President Bush, this woman was murdered by
Arafat's organization. What have you to say?

And while America continues to weigh her options and plan her
retaliatory moves, President Bush and Sec. of State Powell still urge
Israel to return to negotiate with her anti-terror coalition partner,
Arafat, who gave blood for victims of terror in America last week,
and just killed another Jewish mother this morning.

Today is observed as a day of fasting by the Jewish people because in
the period following the destruction of the First Temple, the Jewish
governor Gedaliah ben Ahikam was murdered on this day. King
Nebuchadnezzer destroyed the First Temple and exiled most of the
Jewish people to Babylon. But he allowed a small remainder of Jews to
stay in their land. The king appointed the righteous Gedaliah to
govern over this remnant.

When the Jews who lived in Moab, Amon, Edom and other lands heard
that the Babylonian king allowed a remnant for Judah in her land, and
appointed Gedaliah over them, they returned to the Land of Judah and
were permitted to work their fields. They experienced some respite.
However the King of Amon was jealous of this remnant of Judah. He
dispatched Yishmael ben Netanya to kill Gedaliah. Although Gedaliah
had been warned of Yishmael's plot, he refused to believe, not
wishing to take heed of evil speech. He received Yishmael with honor,
but the latter killed him and most of the Jews who were with him, as
well as the Chaldeans left there by the Babylonian king. Fearing the
king's revenge, the remaining Jews fled to Egypt, and in this manner
the last remnant was scattered and the land became desolate.

One year ago on this day, the Fast of Gedaliah, we wrote about the
obvious parallels between then and now. "We are all the last remnant
of Jews left in the Land of Israel. Our enemies attempt to scatter
us, and to make the land desolate. Arafat gave the orders for this
wave of murder and destruction; Arafat could call it off if he so
chooses." So we wrote one year ago, at the beginning of this war.
Now, a year later, the message does not remain the same: it is more
pertinent, more insistent, and more urgent than ever. Visit the
Israel Foreign Ministryís website (http://www.israel.org/mfa) to view
pictures and biographies of nearly every Jew who has been killed
during this past year. In Israel, the terror that America so rightly
abhors, and so justifiably vows to blot out, continues every single
day. Another family has been devastated today, and forever torn
asunder. How should we respond? How would you respond?

With blessings for an inscription in the Book of Life for all,

Does everyone note that OBL uses Surya 9-5 as the Koranic justification for the killing of all Americans, military and civilian? That's the first part of the Fatwa.

Not being a reader of the Koran (which I presume that you're referring to), I have no idea. I've read enough from others who have done this kind of research about what the Koran says. But, I sure don't want to do that myself.

So, why don't you enlighten us?

This is why we are trying to keep this from having anything to do with religion. This is about crime. Terrorist crime against civilians. I don't think Bin Laden is doing this for religious reasons. He is full of hate and using religion as an excuse and to manipulate his people. He wants power and control just like any other two bit twisted crime boss.He is Comander in Cheif of the Taliban since August 30. The Taliban is not a recognized government. Bin Laden is a criminal murder wanted dead or alive with a price on his head.

The suicide terrorists in Israel and now America rush to greet death because they believe 100% that they are rushing straight to paradise to be greeted as a martyr by Allah himself.

Tonight on "60 MINUTES" they interviewed 2 suicide bombers in Israeli jails whose bombs were duds when they pushed the button. These men were both excited to tell the interviewer that they were thrilled and honored by the chance to become martyrs for Allah, and bitterly sad to have failed to kill Israelis and themselves.

To call these attacks non-religious is foolish.

Praise be to God, who revealed the Book, controls the clouds, defeats factionalism, and says in His Book: "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)";

This is the very first sentence of OBL's Fatwa telling all Moslems to kill all Americans.

The part in quotes is Surya 9-5.

I find it self explanatory, and I am eagerly waiting for Islamic scholars to put it in context or debunk it, but so far none have.

As far as I can see, there can be no debunking. However, you should also bear in mind that a lesser jihad is _supposed_ to be a purely defensive fight.

It is also specifically supposed to stop attacks on non-combatants.

However, Osama bin Laden has used his own interpretation of the Qu'ran .. which is pretty typical of fundamentalists, IMHO.

Most moderate Moslims appear to be consigning his fatwah to the rubbish bin

Unfortunately, less moderate Moslems, particulary those who have an axe to grind against what they see as 'the great satan' may take his call as justification for their atrocities :-(

Regards Sadim

Is there any chance of educating radical Wahhabists, or will they take their mistaken beliefs to their deaths?
