Some here thought that some of the graphic images were too much, I disagree. If anything we have not been subjected to the extent of the horror. a couple of days ago I got a short first hand report from one of the rescuers.

The hardest part for the men at the site of "The Pile" as they are calling it is not just the body parts that are strewn all over reeking and crawling with rats, it is when they try to pull bodies out they are tearing apart.
These are images that we have been spared, but I'm sure the written stories will come out in the future. The men on the scene are breaking down and crying and waking up screaming in the night when they can drink themselves to sleep.
We can't thank them enough for their service.
