Handgun found on New Hampshire man at Logan

A New Hampshire man was arrested after allegedly trying to pass through a Logan International Airport metal detector with a loaded 22-caliber handgun.

Harold Cook, 57, was arrested shortly after 8:30 a.m. at a Delta Air Lines security checkpoint in Terminal C, said Phil Orlandella, spokesman for the Massachusetts Port Authority.

Poor Harold, going hunting in Montana with a .22! You've gotta' be some kinda' hunter to get close enough to a moose or an elk to take him down with a 22.

I remember a while back a tourist was arrested when he tried to take the White House tour with a handgun.

Yes. Perhaps his case will make it to the Supreme Court. There isn't any "flying on an aircraft" exception.
