True, but this assumes they were stupid enough to not anticipate the FAA would ground all planes as soon as it figured out what they were up to. I think it's just as likely that they had some backups in case the WTC and/or Pentagon missions failed. Knowing that they succeded, the others were just going to anonymously fly on and then return to their home base if they could.

Well, they don't seem to bright to me! These guys left clues all over the place.

And how bright was it to request that passengers on the plane which crashed in Pennsylvania to call home to say goodbye? That allowed the passengers to learn of the fate of the other planes and directly led to them being stormed by the irate passengers.
