I agree with you in principle but I have to ask you, when was the last time you got to get on TV to speak your opinion to the sheeple? And get paid for it?

I'm sick and tired of the media continually spewing this tripe and shoving their agenda down our throats. And I am glad FedEx took a stand against it.

How patriotic of you. I would like to see him say it in a speech on Veteran's Day in front of the Vietnam Wall.

I hate to beat up on the logically challenged but this comment deserves to be ridiculed for the non-sense that it is. Two points here.

1. The government is not attempting to silence Maher or throwing him in jail for his comments. Therefore an issue of freedom of expression doesn't apply here.

2. If your neanderthal view of the "Freedom of expression" were in fact the correct view then that would mean that ABC would have to provide a show to anyone else who wanted to speak out. Just because Maher has the freedom from government to express his views doesn't mean his views have to be sponsered or even listened to by anyone..
