Video piracy became the priority of our Intelligence Agencies in 1995

Dave Christian - National Advisor on Defense Issues just stated that during a meeting in 1995 with the intelligence agencies (CIA, FBI, etc...) while they were discussing potential smuggling of nuclear weapons, submarines, etc... a CIA section chief told the group that their new directive was to stop video piracy - this was their new top priority. They were told to forget about terrorism! He also stated that many of the agents were very upset and this was directed by the people in power in 1995!

Stupidity reigns supreme! When video piracy is traced mostly to the Chinese, we disregard it then. Now after the attacks and hijackings a citizen can't even carry a pocket knife on an airliner. The hijackers now have more protection because they can go through metal detectors with their plastic knives and know the law abiding will not even have a pocket knife to protect themselves.

Anybody should be able to walk on an airliner with the protection he needs. The borders remain open for all practical purposes while we are going to hunt down one man halfway around the world. His best defense for himself and the rest of his followers is to fly into Latin America and cross the border and get right in the middle of us. Don't think they aren't smart enough to figure this out, too! Incredoble!

I'm sorry but I'm having a problem with two words here.
Mistake and stupid. I don't think it was either one as I'm having a
bigger and bigger problem every day thinking all that administrations
so called mistakes were mistakes. Looks more everyday that they
knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Damn i hate looking like an
alarmist but I guess I just can't help it anymore. God help us turn all this around.
