Thank you for saying that, daisy. God, it's been so hard to put any makeup on for a week now because I keep crying it off. Know we've got to go on.

I just learned last night that my sister and her husband were in DC last week when this happened. They were there for some sort of banquet that was to take place Tuesday night. It didn't, of course, and they had to be home before Saturday for a big Open House that had been planned for months. (Their plane was to have left on Wednesday - they decided to take a bus and rode for 40 hours with few rest stops in order to get home in time.) They heard the explosion, saw the smoke rising from the Pentagon. Were watching the news of the WTC when they heard the Pentagon explosion. They were never in danger of course - hotel was about a mile away - but still I didn't know they were even there. We learn each day how this has touched lives in so many different ways.

Billie , I just read your post about your sister .oh my gosh, I am so glad she is OK. You are so right, This horrible things touches so many lives all across America and the world.
