I have no problem with women in the military. I do have a problem with women in combat. We haven't come a long-way-baby as a nation when we put men in foxholes and submarines with women - just to prove a point. We only jeopardize the integrity of the fighting forces.

The answer is no, it is not "necessary".

IF women are in forward combat roles, will that in and of itself cause our fighting force to be less effective?

The answer is yes. The unavoidable issue of biology and hormones by itself in mixed units will suffice - let alone whether a 130 lb woman is gonna be able to haul my sorry 225 lb ass out of a firezone.

The warriors should be men. After all, we cannot have kids (children and family being the greatest blessing one can have on earth) - let us do what we can do well - FIGHT.
