Almost from the moment of the attack on New York, Giuliani has been the tireless, unwavering voice of comfort and resolve, a chaplain, friend and field general. I think God had a reason to keep Rudy from challenging Hillary. I know he is not our ideal as a conservative or a family man. But I am thankful he is the mayor of NYC and I am thankful he will (hopefully) be around to keep Clinton from becoming Governor of that state.

Thanks for this very touching post, soccermom. I'm a New Yorker and I didn't know about this at all, but Rudy has been absolutely magnificent - the one bright spot in a deeply sad story. Thanks again.
