Farrakhan Warns of Armageddon if US Retaliates

CNSNews.com) - Minister Louis Farrakhan has warned President Bush that declaring war on terrorism could "trigger the war that would end all wars, the war of Armageddon."

Farrakhan is the leader of the black Muslim separatist movement Nation of Islam and the architect of the 1995 Million Man March in Washington, D.C.

In a speech Sunday at a Chicago mosque, Farrakhan implied that U.S. foreign policy is to blame for last weeks terrorist attacks on Washington and New York. He called on American officials to summon "the courage to look at the foreign policy" and asked if the policies have "produced this danger and hatred toward America."

He described the events of last week as a "dark hour in American and world history." He defended the Palestinians celebrating in the streets after the terrorist attacks because they have "sustained injustice since 1948," which refers to the year Israel became a state.

"They dance in the streets not because they have no feeling for American life, they dance because they wanted America to feel what they feel."

According to Farrakhan, the terrorists that struck America are the product of "despair and hopelessness."

"This is what causes children to strap themselves with bombs. They care nothing for their lives. They want others to feel the pain of what they live with everyday."

He then accused the American government and media of unfairness towards Muslims. He noted that convicted Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVeigh professed to be a Christian, yet the U.S. did not fear all Christians.

"Even though his crime was the most horrific committed up until that time, no one said Christian Timothy McViegh, they just said Timothy McVeigh," he noted. He called McVeigh's actions "un-Christian like" and he declared the attacks last week on the US to be "un-Muslim like."

He said Muslims throughout the world have no quarrel with the citizens of America, only it's foreign policy. He believes these are policies "that the American people know nothing about."

"A better foreign policy of America would defeat terrorism forever in the world," he declared.

What Farrakhan and all liberals have to say right now is irrelevant. Their anti-American bile is well known; we don't need to hear a bunch of backpedaling. What we need to do, however, is investigate his organization to see if they've been supplying aid and comfort to the enemy.

Though it may not be able to be directly linked, I believe it has alot to do with the bombing and the U.S. being alley to Israel. These people are of the same mindset. They are animals.

You may be right Dog but from the film footage I've watched, their were quite a few blacks killed and maimed in the WTC as well as whites. Now the Muslim blacks are a different story, but most Blacks are good Christians folks to. I hope you are wrong, only time will tell.

Well, this is a time for choosing, and he's just chosen the wrong side.

Since he's an American citizen, we can't just deport him (though a one way flight to Mecca with a 25,000 foot deplaning sans parachute sure sounds attractive), but we can charge him with giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Put him in jail incommunicado until the war is over, apologize profusely (maybe) and get on with business.

You are only partially right. The real reason for the hatred that The Middle East Muslims hold against the U.S. is that for thousands of years the Arab Muslims were the wheel of power and then a Christian Country in the West evolved & took the power away from these Dynasties. If it was a white guy private army they would be defecating in their drawers reporting it. They are a direct threat, they could very well decide to support bin laden or other actions should push come to shove. Their sympathies are certainly there, now you have to wonder about their actions in the future. I think it would be safge to assume that they could act, and decisively, if they chose to at some point.

I'll repeat something I'll keep saying, it is prudent to remove yourself-anyone-from the mega-cities at this point. NYC and the wtc was just the first attack, that more are coming is a gimmee. Besides the fruits of islam, you have middle eastern and red chinese "students" and scientists inside of major research areas, and they have access to critical governmental and contracted private corporation infrastructure sites. This is a real and sober threat at this point. Think about them having access to the electrical systems, or the water supplies, or inside the telecommunications areas. "Stuff" could happen.
