I believe that Japan is 13 hours ahead of us here on the East Coast. So it is now just about 10:05 AM there. I suspect that you are right about them not being open an hour or so ago, but perhaps what I saw was "futures". I don't remember if it was FNC or CNN. My guess is FNC.
