I'm curious. Have any of you islamic yeehaaders ever read the Koran? I find it a nearly incomprehensible collection of repetitive phrases that contradicts itself every other page. Most scholars agree. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to why a religion based on the supposed writings of a prophet whose main purpose seemed to be killing all of his opponents (unlike Christ who died for his opponents) is worthy of much respect. Not to say that its adherents deserve no respect, but as Ayn Rand said, A is A.

And I'm sure you read the Koran with a completely open mind.

Ever read the Old Testament? Seems I remember a lot of God-sponsored killing going on there. Who was the the God of the Old Testament, anyway? Allah?
