Right on, Ann. It's about time that someone stood up and proclaimed the Christian aspect of this. No more feel good, chicken-soup-for-the-soul religious jibber-jabber. This latest outrageous atrocity is in line with the teaching of Islamic jihad--holy war--and has been practiced against Western Civilization for thousands of years. It's the same now as in the day of the Crusades, as even as far back as the attack against the Eastern Roman Empire and the conquering of Constaninople, now Istanbul. Islam has as one of its tenets not peaceful coexistence, not conversion to their religion, but the conquering of the infidels and their total destruction. There is not a drive to convert, but simply to annihilate! The terrorists made no demands; they made no statements on Tuesday. Why? They want nothing from us--nothing except our destruction. Wake up, Freepers, this is a holy war, a jihad and we either react accordingly Western Civilization and Christianity WILL perish!

Waht a great article by a great woman! You can feel the rage in her words.....had more men around like her perhaps the world would be a safer place. I say give her a weapon and am happy to have people like her living in America. For all you wimpy peace doves and PC types out there, get a clue.....This is going to be a long and horrible war with lots of casualties. We are at over 5,000 dead so far without our first shot fired yet. This could last for years and expand to who knows what limits? All I can say is better check your guns and be ready.....The world changed as of Tuesday. We don't know what the enemy looks like here in America yet....not all Arab looking people are bad, lots are probably 5th generation Americans that think, and are Americans, or citizens of countries who condemn and abhor such cowardly acts. No, we should not kill all that will not convert. But I do have a problem with the attitude that has arisen within these United States of 'multiple ways to God'. 50 out of the 55 men who signed the Constitution were devout Christians and attended their churches religiously(Founding Fathers, M.E. Bradford). This nation was founded by Christians and while we must, to maintain our freedoms, condone different ways to worship, that does not mean we must accept and embrace them. Flipping channels a minute ago, I stopped on the Communist News Network and saw a Islamic cleric praying on TalkPC Live. There was a Christian priest and a Jewish rabbi as well. Sadly the only man of the three that was speaking anything close to the Bible, New Testament or Old, was the Jewish rabbi. These are God's chosen people, and I as a Christian am just grafted to the branch.

The Christian priests I have seen come out of the woodworks of the past few days are so PC they have forgotten what is actually IN the Bible. While many might not like what Falwell or Coulter have said, I really don't care. I agree with them. The road is straight and narrow and I feel many are being led down the wide and easy path in this inclusion of all faiths tour that has been put on this weekend by the religious talking heads on TV

Really. Well, stop fretting oh sensitive little one.
Anyone who has read Ann Coulter or watched her on television would know that she is nothing if not droll and often uses irony to make her point, as she did here.
That some liberals chose to take her statement literally and are getting hysterical is amusing.
The fact that some FReepers like you are doing the exact same thing is also telling. You show your sentiments quite clearly when you huff and puff about what was obviously a statement made by Ann Coulter for effect and not meant literally...although it does resonate.

I suggest you and 'theQuestion' try to relax and stop looking for something - anything - to find some fault with. Ann Coulter made some excellent statements in that column and I'm sure she's delighted by all the fuss some libs are making over it.
