I contacted the National Disaster Search Dog's Foundation directly and they do NOT need anything except money :) They travel with their own supplies and their own personal veterinarian and they really are okay at the moment. They do not need a repeat of the OKC situation where the city had to deal with mountains of stuff people donated in their eagerness to help.
They'd appreciate it if we'd put the word out to ignore the calls for booties and instead ask for $ donations to be sent or called into:

Even though they don't need "stuff" at the moment, we all know that training and supplying dogs to this level is expensive. Maybe donations we make now will save lives in future disasters.
